job description
From your aunt’s minivan to the fastest street-legal production car, every vehicle on the road is the brainchild of an Automotive Engineer. You’ll dream up designs for new cars and trucks, not to mention the engines, chassis, transmissions, and cup holders inside of them. You’ll have to test everything you design, from high-impact crash tests to speed and performance research out on the track. Part of your uniform could very well be a crash helmet. As the auto industry moves into the future, Automotive Engineers will be the geniuses who come up with practical solutions for more fuel efficient and eco-friendly vehicles.
