Cruise Directors are like the governors of an extremely fun island. On a cruise, the many guest activities on ship and on shore are developed and overseen by a Cruise Director. With advanced training in the art of hospitality, you’ll manage the planning, organizing and conducting of tours. A good working knowledge of world destinations and unique places of interest is required. You’ll have to be personable, comfortable with public speaking, and always be ready to meet any and all guest requests. This includes arranging for transportation, activity equipment and the services of medical personnel. Bon voyage.

Bachelor’s in Travel and Tourism or Hospitality Management, or Public Relations


average salary

$3,800-$7,500 a month, with potential to earn more based on experience
