job description
Fashion Designers are artists who use people as their canvas. You’ll become a master of patterns and textiles, and your work will help launch entirely new trends. Current and historical culture will be your inspiration. You can work for department stores, fashion houses, maybe supervise a design team, or break out on your own. Your vision could one day influence music and art, and maybe even make it to the runways of New York, Paris and Milan. If you can, it’s a good idea to apprentice under a professional designer—someone who can mentor you and nurture your talents.
