Gateway to College is an amazing program! Its the "second chance" or for some the second "second chance", Im currently in the GTC program in San Antonio, TX at Palo Alto College and its a great way for me to get my diploma and college hours at the same time! I had allot of attendance problems in high school and when my district kicked me out I really didn’t have no where to turn and wanted to give up, and just hearing the expectations that my parents would tell me over and over " without school your not going to have nothing" that over and over, I was lost on how to continue my junior and graduate. Even only having 1.0 credit as a junior and not having the rest due to absences I knew in my head it’s too late to catch up! But when I was kicked out of my school district, I knew school was over for me, But... One day on the radio I heard the GTC commercial and I gave it a shot by calling and the next thing I knew I was called in for an interview and that’s where my road back to success! Now im getting ready for my "transition" where I will be taking college classes at 17 yrs old! At the same time im still working on retrieving my credits back. GTC is a blessing for me, and the staff at my location well they are so helping, caring and overall just there for us without judging... Now because of GTC I KNOW I will have a diploma and an associate’s degree, but that’s not all Im striving on getting my bachelors in computer engineering!

Thanks Gateway to College for EVERYTHING!
