Graphic Designers are the experts in the art of visual communication. You’ll assemble images, typography and motion graphics into a cohesive design. Graphic Designers are responsible for creating logos, product packaging, web sites, film titles, concert posters, video game graphics, athletic gear graphics, and even stop signs. As a visual problem solver you can work any visual medium, and you can find a career working in product branding, advertising, journalism, entertainment, or even working for the government. As long as people have a message that has to break through and stand out, Graphic Designers will be in demand.


education requirements

Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Graphic Design; Associates Degree from a 2-3 year professional program


average salary

$25K-$75K, with potential to earn much more based on experience and specialized training
