A Licensing Attorney protects artistic and commercial creations, including music, film, logos, products and inventions, to name a few. Even things like ideas, phrases or a person’s name can be protected by a copyright or trademark. You’ll work with innovative people who create or represent the next big sensation in pop culture. You’ll make deals for endorsements. You’ll limit the use of a celebrity’s image. You’ll write up contracts, and hold all parties responsible for honoring their end of the deal.
