job description
What topic comes up more often than the weather? Meteorologists work every day with interactive maps and information from advanced weather stations, trying to understand and predict weather patterns. If you are more adventurous, you could end up chasing twisters, flying a two-seater plane into the eye of a hurricane, or collecting data from an Arctic glacier. Some Meteorologists become local celebrities by working at television news stations. Others might end up doing hi-tech, behind-the-scenes work at a remote research facility to help world leaders appreciate the enduring impact of global warming.
