For most of us, the motions of everyday life come easily. But when injury or illness prevents us from doing the normal things it takes to get around we see an Occupational Therapist. As an Occupational Therapist you’ll treat physical issues that deal with a person’s range of motion, coordination, swelling and pain. By recommending and prescribing a routine of repetitive movements and exercises for your clients, you’ll restore their ability to do simple tasks by themselves, like getting dressed, taking a bath, cooking or shopping. By getting someone back on their feet and back into life you’ll be giving them back their freedom.
