Because bones, muscles, and joints go through some serious wear and tear over the course of a lifetime, Orthopedists will always be in high demand. Some days you’ll be in surgery, and other days you’ll be observing a patient in physical therapy. You’ll have the potential to work frequently with athletes as they are often in need of bone and muscle repair. You may even be hired as a member of an athletic team’s medical staff. As a musculoskeletal specialist, your ability to reconstruct the body and restore movement will provide you with one of the highest paid careers in the medical field.
