job description
Someone has to follow Einstein’s lead in uncovering the laws of nature. Physicists spend their days doing incredible things like growing synthetic crystals in a laboratory, developing nuclear power plants, and helping to design sophisticated vehicles for Earth and for extra-terrestrial exploration. You’ll investigate anything related to motion and gravity or the behavior of matter and energy. You’ll conduct research, run tests in a lab, and publish papers that report your findings. Who knows, you could even discover a way to make time travel possible. Physicists learn a lot about what makes the universe work, and then they make that knowledge work for us.
