job description

Network Executives run the show. You’ll decide what gets produced and what airs. Writers, producers, directors, and entire casts will be at your command. You’ll pay close attention to ratings and budgets, and you will have the ultimate power to green light a project or pull the plug. You could also focus on developing new shows where you’ll be on a constant hunt for the next big hit. You’ll hear pitches from writers and agents, and when you discover a winner, you’ll help develop it from pilot to series. May your bookshelves one day be fully stocked with Emmys.
